Computer Management Association (CMA) Focus Day

Earlier this year BCS Elite formed an alliance with the Computer Management Association (CMA). The alliance gives BCS Elite members the benefit of being able to attend CMA Networking evenings free and access to other CMA events at discounted prices.

The next event in the CMA programme is a ‘Focus Day’ on 3rd April on Unified Communications. The agenda for the day is outlined below. Full details of the event and other CMA functions are shown on the CMA website http://www.thecma.com/showevent.cfm?o=1

CMA FOCUS DAY – UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS

Date: Monday 3rd April
Venue: Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), Whitehall, London SW1A 2ET

Unified communications solutions converge real-time voice, Web, video, and data collaboration tools over a single IP network and create a new, productivity-enhancing paradigm for the enterprise and its employees while at the same time rationalising business communications, improving customer care and reducing overhead costs.

This focus day will discuss the experiential benefits offered by the new world of unified IP conferencing, focus on recommendations for better preparing enterprises to take full advantage of these workplace technologies, and will demonstrate how companies can deploy unified collaborative communications (audio, video, web and data collaboration) to break down all distance, time and media barriers.
